School performances a hit with the students!

After performing at 2 high schools in the Greater Toronto Area, Gimme One Riddim has been a success with the students and faculty of the schools visited thus far.  Each assembly included a performance, a time for Q&A, and mini dance class to teach them some basic ‘ska’ moves!  Huge thank yous to William Lyon Mackenzie and East York Collegiate for having us as part of their black history month assemblies.  Check out the photo gallery on the Media page.  Don’t forget to purchase those tickets for the full length show at http://www.gimmeoneriddim.eventbrite.ca

  1. Just saw the performance tonight! It was one of the funnest performances I have been to in a long time. The cast was electric and the dancing was very authentic, having grown up in Jamaica during the peirod of ska, it resonated deeply with me! I hope you continue to bring all this good music and dance to audiences everywhere. Huge thumbs up!
