Gerald Heslop’s 35 years of experience involve roles as composer, arranger, director, instructor, and soloist. After he completed his musical training at the Jamaica School of Music, he migrated to Canada where he further pursued his passion for music at Humber College, where he studied Jazz.
As a saxophonist, Gerald has played in various bands in the city of Toronto, accompanying artists such as Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Glen Washington and Lady Saw to name a few. Touring other places in Canada and the USA. He is presently the leader of his own band called Ajar. Playing at various venues throughout the city of Toronto and is currently available for weddings banquets, and concerts.
